Veterans Memorial Auditorium is Firebird’s primary large-orchestra performance venue and the home of many of the ensemble’s signature productions. Located at Galvin Middle School in Wakefield, the auditorium provides the scale needed for Firebird’s full orchestral concerts, including major film-music, pops, Broadway, choral, and multimedia programs.
Museum of Science, Boston

Firebird has collaborated with the Museum of Science, Boston on multiple programs and special events since 2023. The orchestra first appeared at the museum for the Stars of STEM Gala in May 2023, followed by the August 2023 presentation of Mars Symphony. Firebird returned in January 2025 for the opening of the museum’s Year of Being Human and again in August 2026 for an acoustical tuning session in the Public Science Common.
These collaborations reflect Firebird’s interest in combining orchestral performance with science, multimedia, and interdisciplinary programming in distinctive cultural spaces.

Firebird has developed a longstanding relationship with Hammond Castle Museum in Gloucester, with performances in both the museum’s Great Hall and on its grounds. The historic setting has hosted chamber concerts, outdoor programs, film-music performances, and the recurring Christmas at the Castle series, giving audiences a distinctly different experience from Firebird’s larger concert-hall productions.

The Umbrella Arts Center has served as a recurring performance home for Firebird in MetroWest, particularly for holiday programming and other orchestra presentations in its Main Stage Theater. The partnership has helped Firebird bring its programming to audiences west of Boston while performing in one of the region’s established multidisciplinary arts centers.
Greater Boston Stage Company

Firebird has presented multiple performances at Greater Boston Stage Company in Stoneham, extending the orchestra’s presence within Greater Boston. The theatre setting has hosted film-music and pops programming in a more intimate environment than Firebird’s largest concert venues.
