Firebird Guest Artist 

Janis Hudson is thrilled to be performing again with Firebird after playing Madame in their staged concert of Hunchback of Notre Dame last fall. Janis is a Boston-based actor, director, and choreographer who has artistically hustled her way through improv, cabaret, commercial/film, and traditional stages. Most recently, you may have seen her as Malvolio in Twelfth Night (THT Rep), Shelby Stevens in Steel Pier (Sullivan Rep), or Laurel in Torch Song (Moonbox Productions). Other highlights include Phantom in both productions of The Rocky Horror Show (Moonbox Productions), Woman 1 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Concord Players; DASH award), Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music (Reagle Music Theater), Panacea in Forum (Good Theater), and Diana Goodman in Next to Normal (Civic Theater). Her work is dedicated to the late and incomparable Dr. Sandra Hardy, always.
