Ceit Zweil is a performer, choreographer, arts educator, and non-profit professional. She has appeared onstage with The Huntington, GBSC, Lyric Stage Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, New England Light Opera, New Repertory, and Wheelock Family Theatre, and she has been a vocalist with an area rock band for more than 15 years. Production team credits include movement consultation for Featherbaby and Clue: On Stage! at GBSC, as well as choreography for Altar Boyz (also co-director), Something’s Afoot and Nutcracker (GBSC); Heart and Soul: The Songs of Frank Loesser (also director) and Happy Days Are Here Again (NELO); and The Paisley Sisters Christmas Special (ICA and Worcester Foothills productions). She has had the pleasure of teaching, directing, and choreographing for some amazing arts education programs in Greater Boston, including The Young Company at GBSC and eleven seasons with the former Performing Artists at Lincoln School. Her non-profit career includes work as a multimedia producer and project manager in educational media, including for many flagship PBS Kids properties and the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. She holds a BA in History (Smith College) and a MA in Theatre Education (Emerson College).
